Audio System Integration – Immersive Project

I successfully completed an immersive Audio System Integration course, where my team and I designed, planned, and constructed a sophisticated sound system. The project started with a standard headphone stereo input and advanced into a transducer set that generated sound through multiple transducers, each receiving distinct signals to create a dynamic and immersive audio experience.

We engineered the system to reproduce a frequency range of 50-17,000Hz with a tolerance of +/- 12dB at 80dBA, using uncorrelated pink noise as the stimulus. Our setup was carefully measured with a microphone placed 1 meter from the sound source, and the system was capable of sustaining 90dBA with uncorrelated pink noise under the same conditions.

The project included not only technical precision but also subjective sound quality assessments to provide a holistic evaluation. With a budget constraint of $125.01 per person, this project was a testament to hands-on learning, collaboration, and innovation in audio technology.
